Service Technician

A full-time position with Heart To Beat LLC, Service Technicians report to the Director of Operations and CEO. A Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, assessing and restocking AEDs, First Aid Cabinets, Eyewash Stations, Bloodborne Pathogen Kits and Stop the Bleed Kits at various locations contracted by Heart To Beat. Service Technicians are responsible to maintain a schedule of visits either monthly or quarterly, depending on a client’s contract. The service Technician may also assist with scheduled training classes as an instructor aide, supporting lead instructors.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Organizes and packs service kit for necessary equipment at client sites.
  • Drives company issued vehicle safely to location of training when directed.
  • Provides professional and timely service to customers.
  • Organizes daily route to optimize efficiency.
  • Maintains vehicle maintenance log and professional appearance of company issued vehicle.
  • Keep tablet updated and in compliance with company policy.
  • Maintain adequate vehicle stock of all required supplies.
  • Obtains and Maintains First Aid and CPR Certification and Fire Extinguisher Inspection License.
  • Assists the lead Instructor moving equipment throughout the duration of the class as directed.
  • Records service records in the Heart To Beat Portal.
  • Offers superior customer service to clients while completing service tickets.
  • Disinfects and packages all training equipment to be transported back to office.
  • Unpacks vehicle and completes other tasks associated with Heart To Beat policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or greater.
  • Ability to lift 35 or more pounds independently.
  • Must be enthusiastic, responsible, articulate and well organized.
  • Must have flexibility in various work environments and be willing to travel locally.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of Pre-Employment Screening background check.
Under Armor Safety Training

Active Shooter Instructor

A part-time position with Heart To Beat LLC, Active Shooter instructors report to the Senior Instructor and CEO. An Active Shooter instructor is responsible for the learning of all students in his/her class. Instructors are expected to teach the Heart To Beat Active Shooter Course at various locations contracted by Heart To Beat. Classes are scheduled seven (7) days a week during the day and in the evening. Commitment is required from Instructors at the time that courses are contracted.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Organizes and packs vehicle for contracted job.
  • Drives company issued vehicle safely to location of training.
  • Meets with client at time of service.
  • Unpacks vehicle independently or with assistance of other Heart To Beat team members.
  • Assembles classroom to meet required guidelines.
  • Instructs Active Shooter courses in accordance with all required parameters.
  • Issues and collects all required paperwork in accordance with Heart To Beat procedures and files accordingly.
  • Issues various certification cards following all company policies and procedures.
  • Disinfects, packages and transports all training equipment back to office.
  • Unpacks vehicle and completes other tasks associated with Heart To Beat policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or greater.
  • Ability to speak confidently and conduct lifesaving courses as a lead instructor.
  • 20+ years law enforcement experience.
  • Ability to lift 30 or more pounds independently.
  • Must be enthusiastic, responsible, articulate and well organized.
  • Must have flexibility in various work environments and be willing to travel locally.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of Pre-Employment Screening background check.
Active Shooter Training

Safety Equipment Installer

A part-time position with Heart To Beat LLC, Safety Equipment Installers report to the CEO and Partner. A Safety Equipment Installer is responsible for the installation of AED and First Aid cabinets. Installers are expected to be able to install cabinets into drywall, brick, block and plaster surfaces and perform routine equipment maintenance based off of company policies and procedures. Installations will be performed at various locations as contracted by Heart To Beat. Installations may scheduled seven (7) days a week during the day and in the evening, based upon client availability. Commitment is required from Safety Equipment Installers at the time that installations are contracted. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Organizes and packs vehicle for contracted job.
  • Drives company issued vehicle safely to location of installation.
  • Meets with client at time of service.
  • Unpacks vehicle independently or with assistance of other Heart To Beat team members.
  • Consults with client as to mounting locations and advises on compliance guidelines.
  • Installs cabinets and associated signage into brick, block, drywall and plaster surfaces.
  • Stocks cabinets accordingly.
  • Provides overview and orientation services to the client.
  • Packages and transports all installation tools and equipment back to office.
  • Unpacks vehicle and completes other tasks associated within Heart To Beat policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or greater.
  • Must currently possess or obtain American Heart Association (AHA) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) and student level certifications within the first 60 days of employment.
  • Ability to speak confidently and professionally in a business setting.
  • Ability to lift 30 or more pounds independently.
  • Must be enthusiastic, responsible, articulate and well organized.
  • Must have flexibility in various work environments and be willing to travel locally.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of Pre-Employment Screening background check and drug test.
  • Must have light to moderate construction/installation experience in all brick, block, plaster and drywall surfaces.
AED Installation Expert

CPR/First Aid Instructor

A part-time position with Heart To Beat LLC, CPR/First Aid instructors report to the Senior Instructor and CEO. A CPR/First Aid instructor is responsible for the learning of all students in his/her class. Instructors are expected to teach the American Heart Association (AHA), American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) and Stop the Bleed courses at various locations contracted by Heart To Beat. Classes are scheduled seven (7) days a week during the day and in the evening. Commitment is required from Instructors at the time that courses are contracted.

Instructor Aide

A part-time position with Heart To Beat LLC, Instructor Aides report to the Senior Instructor and CEO. An Instructor Aide is responsible for the assisting the Instructor(s) and participants in his/her class. Instructor Aides are expected to assist with the set-up, clean-up and management of class operations at various locations contracted by Heart To Beat. Classes are scheduled seven (7) days a week during the day and in the evening. Commitment is required from Instructor Aides at the time that courses are contracted.

  • Organizes and packs vehicle for contracted job at the direction of the lead Instructor.
  • Drives company issued vehicle safely to location of training when directed.
  • Unpacks vehicle independently or with assistance of other Heart To Beat team members.
  • Assembles classroom to meet required guidelines at the direction of the lead Instructor.
  • Assists the lead Instructor moving equipment throughout the duration of the class as directed.
  • Issues and collects all required paperwork in accordance with Heart To Beat procedures and files accordingly.
  • Disinfects and packages all training equipment to be transported back to office.
  • Unpacks vehicle and completes other tasks associated with Heart To Beat policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or greater.
  • Must currently possess or obtain American Heart Association (AHA) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) provider level certification within the first 60 days of employment.
  • Ability to lift 30 or more pounds independently.
  • Must be enthusiastic, responsible, articulate and well organized.
  • Must have flexibility in various work environments and be willing to travel locally.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of Pre-Employment Screening background check.
